Liaison Engineering Focal

Responsibilities

Work closely with design, analysis, & quality teams (Archer & supplier) to coordinate and provide solutions to complex problems
Assist quality team with RCCA and CAPA
Understand and operate to both Archer and supplier process specifications and process limitations
Author repair instructions and dispositions for non-conforming components & assemblies
Support supplier process development, travel to supplier(s)
Encourage collaboration and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders, bridging gap between manufacturing, quality, and design

Required

6+ years of experience in aerospace engineering (design, mfg eng. tooling design, etc), composite and metallic experience preferred
MRB experience with composite and metallic structures
Proficiency in 3D CAD Software (NX preferred)
Experience using Fibersim or Composite Workbench
Practical application of GD&T and real life execution of inspection processes
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Preferred

Experience with various composite inspection techniques, M&P standards and test equipment
Driven to solve complex problems and implement simple solutions
Passion for aviation and eVTOLs
