Responsibilities

Aircraft Mechanic II (Electrician) Contractor personnel shall remove, repair, modify, test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and install electrical systems, equipment and accessories used in aircraft; make functional checks on electrical systems to ensure performance and reliability and correct malfunctions disclosed by static, ground, and flight tests; and replace defective wiring and install new wiring for aircraft changes, modifications, and repairs
Contractor personnel, based on blueprints job orders engineering specifications and or maintenance instructions, shall disassemble, repair, rework and install various systems and components such as wings, control surfaces, control systems, landing gear, arresting gear, fuel cells, instrumentation, and engines. Contractor personnel shall install hydraulic tubing, actuating cylinders, and cable controls. Contractor personnel shall rig, adjust, and perform preflight tests on various flight systems including landing gear, flight controls, instruments, oxygen/ environmental systems, and power plants. Contractor personnel shall install complete fuel systems including self-sealing fuel cells
Adequate experience performing the duties of the labor category as described in the Department of Labor functional description. Services Contract Act (SCA) – 23022
In addition to these major activities, the contract aircraft mechanic for this program will be required to be assigned on temporary assignment duty across FRCSW sites throughout the US, and Outside Continental United States
Perform Depot Level Maintenance on H-53 aircraft electrical and avionics components
Contractor personnel shall overhaul, repair, modify and test aircraft electrical system accessories such as motors, dynamotors, inverters, voltage regulators, relays, cutouts, engine synchronizers, electric motor driven air compressors and activators, DC generators, AC alternators, DC/AC electrical controls, cockpit air conditioning controls, engine temperature controls, and transistorized control equipment, etc
Contractor personnel shall install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and test complex electrical systems and devices on military aircraft to ensure precise performance and reliability of all electrical systems
Contractor personnel shall set up test positions using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, audio signal generators, frequency meters, voltmeters, watt meters and ammeters
Contractor personnel shall test the various units for compliance with the proper tolerances prescribed for transient time, noise amplitude, and frequencies; adjust resonant circuits, compute alternative current loads; and make all necessary adjustments to bring the units up to prescribed operational standards. As a condition of employment, Contractor personnel will be required to pass a FRCSW administered certification skills examination
A contractor Aircraft Mechanic (Electrician) for this site will perform Depot level Maintenance on H-53 aircraft electrical/electronic components, wirings, and incorporate Level-III Technical Directives
Administrative Duties:
Comply with all required trainings and other administrative functions required by the company and the costumer
Assist in maintaining NAMP Programs, ensure contract artisans follows Ground Operating Procedures, and ensure personnel comply with safety procedures

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum experience or military experience as H-53 Aircraft Electrician or, 10 years or more experience as Aircraft Electrician in all Naval and Marine Corps aircraft
Security Clearance
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to pass a NACI which could include a credit check
