Associate Financial Advisor – Retirement Planning (Path to Lead Advisor)

They are hiring an Associate Advisor who will work closely with a Lead Advisor to build and refine retirement plans while gaining real client exposure and mentorship on a defined path to becoming a Lead Advisor.

Responsibilities

Build and refine retirement plans (income strategy, tax planning, allocation, legacy) alongside the Lead Advisor
Sit in on client meetings, capture notes, execute follow-ups, and progressively lead meeting sections as you develop
Model planning scenarios (Roth conversions, Social Security timing, withdrawal sequencing, risk alignment)
Deliver a high-touch service standard: proactive outreach, fast response times, clean execution
Learn and run our workflows across planning software + CRM + service cadence
Earn trust and gradually assume primary advisor responsibility for relationships as milestones are met

Required

2–5 years of experience in financial advising
Series 65 licensing
Life & Health licensing
Ability to build and refine retirement plans (income strategy, tax planning, allocation, legacy)
Experience in client meetings, capturing notes, executing follow-ups, and progressively leading meeting sections
Ability to model planning scenarios (Roth conversions, Social Security timing, withdrawal sequencing, risk alignment)
Deliver a high-touch service standard: proactive outreach, fast response times, clean execution
Learn and run workflows across planning software + CRM + service cadence
Earn trust and gradually assume primary advisor responsibility for relationships as milestones are met
Ability to independently prepare plan updates and scenario analysis with high accuracy
Ability to run meeting follow-ups end-to-end (tasks, paperwork, implementation coordination)
Ability to lead specific portions of client meetings (e.g., plan recap, next steps)
Organized, proactive, and clear documentation of client work in the CRM

Preferred

CFP® track / coursework (or desire to pursue)
Experience with retirement-focused planning
Familiarity with eMoney/RightCapital/Holistiplan/Redtail/etc
