Key Account Manager – Independent Retail-San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, or Boston Preferred
Sol-ti is a manufacturer of high-quality Living Beverages focused on sustainability. They are seeking a senior-level Key Account Manager to lead growth in key retail and distributor relationships, driving sales and market development initiatives.

Responsibilities
Own and grow relationships with top regional retailers, independents, and strategic chains within the assigned market
Serve as the primary point of contact for high-impact accounts, managing both day-to-day execution and long-term growth strategies
Drive new distribution, expanded placements, and sustained velocity growth across all SKUs
Identify incremental volume opportunities through distribution gaps, resets, promotions, and innovation
Partner closely with DSDs and broker teams to ensure best-in-class execution, merchandising standards, and accountability
Support onboarding and expansion of distributor partners where applicable
Actively develop the assigned market by identifying white-space opportunities, emerging banners, and strategic accounts
Support launches, expansions, and market-level initiatives aligned with national priorities
Build and execute a market-specific growth plan aligned with company objectives
Track KPIs, analyze POS data, and provide concise, actionable insights to leadership
Maintain a strong in-market presence through store visits, distributor ride-alongs, retailer meetings, and key events
Travel 50%+ to support account development and growth initiatives
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience managing key retail, distributor, and regional chain accounts within CPG or beverage
Proven success growing brands in high-velocity, competitive retail environments
Strong understanding of distributor dynamics, retail execution, and promotional strategy
Highly self-directed with the ability to prioritize, execute, and own outcomes
Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; POS and analytics experience strongly preferred
Willingness to travel 50%+, including occasional weekends as needed
