Responsibilities
Design, deploy, manage scalable infrastructure on Azure using services like AKS, FrontDoor, Key Vaults, APIM, App Gateway etc
Develop and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions and Gradle)
Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform
Manage containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (Centralized AKS)
Implement monitoring, logging (Dynatrace and Azure Monitor) and alerting for production systems
Implement security best practices, encryption, and controls at the infrastructure and pipeline levels
Work cross-functionally with devops teams, lead technical initiatives
Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability (SRE principles)
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent
At least 5 years of DevOps Software Engineering, proven track record with complex systems working within a distributed cross-functional team
Proficient with Terraform
Cloud Deep expertise in Azure
Proficient in CICD tools, GitHub, Gradle, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes
Scripting Languages: Python, Go, Java, Bash scripting
Solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers
Experience with Relational databases: Azure SQL, Snowflake, Oracle
Non-relational databases: Redis
Messaging: Confluent Kafka
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Able to organize, moderate, and demonstrate value-added principles and practices to the teams
Experience mitigating Sonar, Checkmarx, CAST scans
Experience with continuous integration and test-driven development practices, test automation and tools
Empowered self-starter comfortable to take the lead and manage multiple initiatives with ability to effectively collaborate across teams and departments
Preferred
Knowledge and experience in tools such Azure DevOps, Dashboards and Confluence
Experience in the financial service industry
