Responsibilities
Manage the open AP list in partnership with Supply Chain Mgmt
Verifying invoice processing correctness
Create and submit Payment Approval requests as required
Verify the accuracy of all payment requests
Post AP journal entries
Ensure all monthly utility payments have been processed complete by month end
Clear payments in SAP
Record keeping
Monitor shared email boxes
Process and reconcile Credit Card transactions
Various month end duties
Makes recommendations for continual process improvement and ensures the AP procedures are documented
Other duties and projects as assigned
Accurate and timely financial statement management
Accounts Receivable Management
Inter-company transactions
Monthly finance closing and reporting
Balance sheet reconciliations
Quarterly financial statements with accountants
Quarterly finance audit with auditors and CFO
Makes recommendations for continual process improvement and ensures the GL procedures are documented
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years in a business office setting
Proficient/advanced skills with MS Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to details and ability to meet deadlines consistently
Excellent filing and record keeping skills
Comfortable with math and calculations
Meticulous attention to details
Ability and willingness to problem solve independently
Strong work ethic
Willingness to strongly support internal and external customers
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
Bachelor's degree in business finance, accounting or equivalent education is required
High understanding of general ledger accounting principles
Minimum 5 years of experience with general ledger accounting and reporting
Proficient/Advanced skills with MS Excel and ERP (SAP)
Strong Math and analytical skills
Ability to confidently present financial reporting to HQ
Excellent record keeping skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Understanding SOX requirements and internal controls
Strong attention to detail
Consistently able to meet reporting deadlines
Ability to problem solve and work independently
Strict work ethic
Strong leadership skills
Preferred
Korean language skill preferred
Korean language skill is most preferred, working with Korean HQ
