Responsibilities
Oversee and administer all aspects of private equity fund capital calls and distributions
Build, maintain, and enhance waterfall models to accurately calculate preferred returns, catch-up provisions, carried interest, clawbacks, and investor-level capital activity
Manage cash flow and returns analysis, including updating waterfall calculations and supporting the preparation and distribution of capital activity notices to investors
Partner cross-functionally to ensure waterfall structures are consistent with fund governing documents and applicable compliance requirements
Coordinate with fund accounting, client solutions, and tax teams to deliver timely and accurate responses to investor, prospective investor, and internal stakeholder inquiries
Work closely with accounting and reporting teams and external auditors to support audit and investor review processes, including validation of waterfall calculations
Utilize emerging technologies and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of waterfall calculations and reporting workflows
Qualification
Required
Experience in full-cycle fund accounting
Ability to oversee and administer all aspects of private equity fund capital calls and distributions
Experience in building, maintaining, and enhancing waterfall models to accurately calculate preferred returns, catch-up provisions, carried interest, clawbacks, and investor-level capital activity
Experience in managing cash flow and returns analysis, including updating waterfall calculations
Ability to support the preparation and distribution of capital activity notices to investors
Experience in partnering cross-functionally to ensure waterfall structures are consistent with fund governing documents and applicable compliance requirements
Ability to coordinate with fund accounting, client solutions, and tax teams to deliver timely and accurate responses to inquiries
Experience working closely with accounting and reporting teams and external auditors to support audit and investor review processes
Ability to validate waterfall calculations
Familiarity with utilizing emerging technologies and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of waterfall calculations and reporting workflows
