Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of Program leadership, including hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, and supervision of staff, as well as overall performance and outcome management of Recovery House Program
Maintains thorough knowledge of and adherence to Union Contract, agency and personnel policies and procedures and ensuring that assigned subordinates do the same
Responsible for the administration of services for assigned agency programs/staff and services ensuring that services are timely, cost effective, client-centered, focused on attainment of individual service/recovery goals, are in compliance with established policies/procedures and meet all funder/contractual requirements
Responsible for routine assessment of staff in the provision and effectiveness of services; staff mentoring and ongoing professional development of staff, and as appropriate, provide or arrange for professional training to ensure staff competency with the provision of client care
Responsible for maintaining an updated working knowledge of system and service trends; function as the primary network contact for the agency regarding assigned agency programs; promptly addressing issues impacting the delivery of services to clients, and attendance at required internal and external meetings
Responsible to maintain knowledge of and participate in legislation affecting services, advocating for client needs by providing information and education to staff, clients, partners, and legislators
Responsible to maintain financial oversight of agency assigned programs, providing budget recommendations, development of service spending plans, and management of client fees and other service generated revenue
Performs other duties as assigned
Maintains operational knowledge of human services principles, determines appropriate interventions for clients, and is able to assure the same for staff, using leadership, guidance and education
Completes and maintains documentation and required paperwork for all clients/ and funders as required
Manages all relationships on behalf of agency and clients in a professional and respectful manner
Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations with limited standardization and assures same for staff
Proficient with use of computer i.e. Microsoft Office, Electronic Health Record etc., filing skills and other administrative skills, and assures same for staff
Skilled at individual and group-based interventions and assures same for staff
Demonstrates excellent organizational, time management skills
Effectively communicates and presents information clearly and in a concise manner in verbal and written format and assures same for staff
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, leadership skills including professional demeanor and positive, service-oriented attitude toward all internal and external customers and assures same for staff
Demonstrates ability to adhere to strict Confidentiality and HIPAA Guidelines, and assures same for staff
Provides guidance, assistance and support to clients as well as works collaboratively with Chrysalis Team and assures same for staff

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of three to five years of administrative and supervisory experience in behavioral health field or equivalent
Thorough knowledge of service delivery models, managed care principles and client care practices for individuals experiencing mental illness, HIV/AIDS, chemical addiction, homelessness, and release from incarceration
Experience managing program delivery and providing employment, supportive housing, case management services or other support services
Proficient at using Microsoft and other computer applications used for tracking data and reporting outcomes
Easily adapts to change and competing priorities
Ability to de-escalate crisis situations with professionalism and sound judgment
Possess and maintains a valid Drivers' License, reliable vehicle, current registration and insurance
Ability to effectively interact with clients and members of various teams within and outside the agency

Preferred

Master's Degree preferred
Experience in Housing is preferred
