Southwestern Illinois College is seeking a part-time Website Manager & Communications Specialist to assist with the Public Information and Marketing efforts of the college. The role involves managing the college’s online presence, digital marketing needs, and working on weather/emergency communications and special events/projects.

Responsibilities

Assist with the Public Information and Marketing efforts of the department and across departments/divisions

Responsible for all components and facets of the college’s online presence and digital marketing needs

Work directly with the Associate Director of PI&M on weather/emergency communications and projects including, but not limited to, college special events/projects as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications and familiarity with current Associated Press Style Manual required

Experience with HTML, WordPress, Google Analytics, InDesign, Photoshop, MS Outlook and MS Word (required)
