Responsibilities
Apply course lesson plans to deliver hands-on instruction in classrooms and laboratory settings
Promote and instill safe working practices
Instruct and train subject matter material to students
Assess the progress of the knowledge being transferred to the students
Measure student knowledge on subject matter
Responsible for leading and managing department
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree or higher level of formal education / training
Minimum of 4 years' field experience in all areas of expertise
Ability to work independently and self-manage
Ability to supervise instructional staff within the department(s)
Mentor students with a true concern for outcome of students and learning
Ability to instruct a variety of classes as needed
Basic Instrumentation and / or Electrical principles; troubleshooting; methodologies and functions of these industrial fields
Ability to communicate on an individual as well as group level
Ability and desire to manage staff
Previous experience in industrial instrumentation and / or industrial electrical, or other related fields
Demonstrate with a working knowledge basic instrumentation principles frequently used in the industrial environment
Basic Professional Experience in one or more of Control systems, Valves, PLC, Analytical Systems, pressure, level, flow, temperature
