The Sun Laboratory is seeking highly motivated postdocs to lead projects developing innovative gene/drug delivery systems for applications in immunotherapy and gene therapy.
Responsibilities
Design and synthesize new biomaterials/nanoparticles for drug/gene delivery
Design and conduct in vivo experiments to evaluate the delivery efficiency and mechanism
Immune profiling of diseases and therapeutic outcomes
Conduct immunological assays, including flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISPOT, and cytokine profiling, to assess immune responses
Perform CRISPR gene editing protocols
Perform molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, qRT-PCR, Western blotting, and sequencing, to analyze gene expression and editing outcomes
Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, protocols, and results in accordance with lab standards
Supervise and mentor junior lab members, including graduate students and technicians, as required
Assist in writing scientific papers and grants
Qualification
Required
Highly motivated postdocs to lead projects aimed at developing innovative gene/drug delivery systems for applications in immunotherapy and gene therapy
Experience in designing and synthesizing new biomaterials/nanoparticles for drug/gene delivery
Ability to design and conduct in vivo experiments to evaluate the delivery efficiency and mechanism
