Responsibilities

Quote new work from customer prints: define materials, select tooling/fixturing, set feeds and speeds, and estimate cycle times
Program and continuously optimize CNC milling operations using engineering drawings and specifications
Perform setups and operate mills, verifying correct tools, fixtures, and workholding are in place
Track machine performance, making real-time adjustments to sustain quality and throughput
Execute routine maintenance checks to keep equipment running at its best
Collaborate with engineering and production to troubleshoot machining challenges
Document production runs, tooling changes, and maintenance in accurate, up-to-date records
Champion safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
3–5 years of CNC programming experience, with emphasis on milling
Strong command of G-code and M-code
Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools and CNC setup practices
Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Skilled at reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Effective communicator who works well within a team setting

Technical training in CNC programming
