Customer Service Specialist
MEDSource, Inc is a provider of ancillary equipment for surgeons in a medical education environment. They are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to serve as the primary liaison between the business and clients, requiring strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
Interact with customers via phone and email
Serve as the primary liaison between our business and our clients
Assist with last-minute planning for clients
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Internet for product research
Handle and pack medical equipment for shipment as needed
Qualification
Required
A quick learn
Superior customer service, organizational, and communication skills
Attentive to detail and able to multi-task
Able to work both autonomously and as a team player who is willing to collaborate with co-workers on projects
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and use of Internet search engines for product research
Comfortable with manual cleaning and disinfection of surgical instruments as needed
Must be able to lift 40 pounds and willing to handle and pack medical equipment for shipment as needed
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Preferred
Bachelors or Associates degree, preferably in a science field
Direct experience with laparoscopy, arthroscopy, orthopedics, spine procedures, etc. and a solid understanding of the equipment and instruments involved
Prior medical sales experience
Prior experience in a business office
Leadership skills
