This role focuses on managing indirect tax obligations in the US and involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and support tax planning initiatives.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the US Tax Manager, Finance team, and external advisors to ensure compliance with all US indirect tax obligations, including premium taxes and Sales & Use tax
Assist in preparing tax reporting for both entity-level and consolidated financial statements
Support tax planning initiatives and provide advisory assistance as required
Perform ad hoc tax and accounting tasks to meet business needs
Ensure adherence to our policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Must be able to work as part of a team
Computer skills – Excel/MS Office
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive, self-starter, seeks continuous improvement
Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritize
Knowledge of insurance company accounting and/or taxation
