LHH is working on a Controller position for a regional bank in Waukesha County. This role will significantly contribute to the bank's growth strategy and assist the CFO with various financial activities, including budget preparation and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Assist CFO with financial activities and annual budget preparation

Month-end close process including preparation and posting of journal entries

Reviews and audits third party vendors and maintains current information on contracts with the bank

Establish (in coordination with Leadership) financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis

Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives

Annually audits the reconciliation of all internal accounts

Monitors portfolio for unusual transactions which may lead to purchasing or selling securities

Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards
