Responsibilities

Prepare monthly worldwide consolidated financial statements and variance analyses for the company and other internal management reports

Manage and supervise general ledger accountants; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership and closing process; monitoring deadlines and providing support and coaching

Review closing journal entries and reconciliations and ensure financial accounts are properly supported and reconciled on a monthly basis

Perform intercompany reconciliations with multiple international subsidiaries in different functional currencies

Responsible for fixed assets accounting including preparation of related rollforward schedules for US GAAP and tax

Maintain, develop and implement accounting processes, procedures and internal controls for continuous process improvement

Follow and comply with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements

Perform technical accounting research, advise, document and implement appropriate accounting treatment as needed

Assist with budget and forecasting activities including budget/forecast to actual variance analyses and other ad-hoc analyses

Support the annual audit process with external auditors

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business required

Minimum 6 to 8 years of progressive accounting experience plus relevant managerial roles

Strong analytical, business partnering, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Strong knowledge of accounting processes and procedures and US GAAP

Advanced MS excel skills

Strong attention to details

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Oracle is required

Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, take ownership, and work in a flexible team environment

Preferred

CPA strongly preferred

Big 4 public accounting experience a plus
