Virtua Health is seeking a Biomedical Engineering Sterilizer Specialist to direct daily operations of assigned location. The role involves maintaining safe and functioning clinical equipment systems while ensuring regulatory compliance and managing inventory.

Responsibilities

Inspects, trouble-shoots and repairs clinical equipment systems and electronic equipment

Completes work orders and documents completion of work orders and outcomes

Maintains equipment records and accurate inventory

Sits on various local committees including, but not limited to, EOC committee

Attends training as needed

Responsible for installation and inventory of biomedical equipment

Processes equipment recall and alerts according to procedures

Coordinates project onset, implementation and debriefing for ongoing process improvements

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum of seven years' experience in the Biomedical field with demonstrated knowledge of specialty, life-support, and non-life support equipment

Proven organization and interpersonal skills

High School Diploma/equivalent

Valid driver's license required for travel between sites

Preferred

Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering
