This role involves managing quote requests, handling customer communications, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment while collaborating with various internal departments.

Responsibilities
Manage quote requests and analyze sales data
Handle customer requests through phone, email, fax, and other communication channels
Review and interpret customer specifications, applications, and terms (with support from Engineering/Marketing as needed)
Process requests for quotes by providing pricing and product availability (typically within 24 hours)
Enter and acknowledge customer orders within 48 hours
Process customer returns and claims promptly, initiating corrective action when necessary
Collaborate with internal departments (Shipping, Scheduling, Quality, Manufacturing, Credit, Finance, Engineering, Product Management) to ensure timely delivery and accurate order fulfillment
Support system transition by transferring data from legacy systems into SAP and HFA (homegrown system)
Qualification
Required
SAP experience is required (order entry, customer support, or related sales/operations functions)
Strong background in sales support and data entry
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proactive - not afraid to ask questions when help is needed
Self-motivated and dependable
Strong problem-solving abilities
Highly organized and detail-oriented
