This role focuses on automation and tooling integration while providing technical leadership for security platforms across IT and OT environments.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of core security platforms, including:
SIEM, SOAR, EDR
Vulnerability Management
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Cloud Security solutions
Architect and implement automation workflows and system integrations using APIs, scripting, and orchestration tools to support incident enrichment, response, and mitigation
Ensure security architecture and controls align with NIST 800-53 , NIST 800-82 , and TSA Security Directive 1582/21 requirements
Develop and maintain security architecture diagrams, control mappings, and technical documentation
Support enterprise security initiatives, including:
OT network segmentation
Cloud security modernization
Firewall architecture redesigns
Asset discovery and visibility improvements
Provide Tier 3/engineering-level support during major incidents and platform-related issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
6+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise security tooling and infrastructure
2+ years in a lead role focused on security automation, orchestration, or platform integration
Strong experience integrating and maintaining multi-vendor security platforms
Desired certifications (one or more preferred): CISSP, GIAC GCSA or GSEC, Azure Security certifications
Eligibility for DHS Public Trust clearance required
Preferred
Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and Cortex XSOAR
Hands-on experience with vulnerability management platforms (Rapid7, Tenable, Qualys)
Exposure to ICS/SCADA and OT security environments
Experience aligning security controls with TSA, DHS, and CISA frameworks and guidance
