Amazon is seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer to drive the successful installation, testing, and deployment of electrical systems for automation and material handling equipment across multiple facilities. This role provides deep electrical engineering expertise and requires collaboration across engineering, construction, and operations partners to ensure high-quality installations.

Responsibilities

Own delivery of complex electrical installation projects with multi-site impact ($10M to $50M scope)
Provide technical expertise for electrical systems, power distribution, and controls integration
Design and implement electrical solutions for automation systems and material handling equipment
Follow and help develop electrical standards and best practices compliant with NEC/NFPA
Work cross-functionally with engineering, construction, and operations teams
Participate in technical reviews and drive electrical engineering excellence
Oversee electrical contractors and validate installation quality
Create and review electrical single-line diagrams and construction drawings
Conduct power studies and load calculations for facility automation systems
Support achievement of safety, timeline, cost, and quality metrics
Provide technical input for electrical system design and modifications
Manage relationships with electrical contractors and equipment vendors

Required

5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience delivering technical projects in industrial construction environments
Ability to travel up to 50% domestically

Preferred

Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
Experience working with and managing third party vendors
Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
