Responsibilities
Receives and/or ships materials to include packaging, labeling and staging
Verifies quantities of incoming and outgoing materials
Loads and unloads material
Gathers parts/product/materials for issue or distribution to shipping or other cross-functional departments
Completes necessary paperwork accurately
Performs housekeeping duties; such as cleaning, sweeping and organizing materials to maintain a safe working environment
Assists with the transaction of materials in shop floor system
Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
May conduct visual mechanical inspection to identify cosmetic issues
May use isopropyl alcohol or similar substances to clean products
May perform some data entry and filing
May perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Basic familiarity with computer use required
Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision
Intermediate English abilities required
Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
Excellent time-management skills
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
At least 2 years of experience in material handling preferred
Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
