They are seeking remote, part-time news writers to craft news briefs for various websites. The role involves writing news posts, product descriptions, and managing content through WordPress CMS.

Responsibilities
Writing short, daily news posts for all three sites
Writing new product descriptions and company overviews for print magazines
Basic photo editing (including resizing to web specs)
Writing photo captions
Uploading and formatting content via WordPress CMS
Identifying news-worthy stories and searching for topics to cover
Writing product descriptions for various online features, gift guides, and more
There is also an opportunity to create listicles and feature-length stories for all three sites
Qualification
Required
Experience with writing news briefs for news-based websites
A basic understanding of Photoshop
Familiarity with AP style
Familiarity with Google Suite
Experience with Wordpress CMS
Interest in toys, collectibles, kids' entertainment, and/or pop culture
Able to balance multiple projects and prioritize workload
All required technology, including a computer and a strong internet connection
