Responsibilities
Build, lead, and mentor a strong data engineering organization, including people managers and early-career talent
Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning
Architect and operate scalable ML/AI-enabled data platforms leveraging Google Cloud Platform and Snowflake
Implement data maturity frameworks across a marketing-focused data lake, advancing datasets from raw ingestion to analytics-ready layers
Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to ensure alignment with broader data strategy
Partner with business leaders, product managers, and data scientists to deliver high-impact data solutions
Drive innovation in how insights are generated, contextualized, and activated, including emerging agent-based and AI-driven analytics approaches
Work closely with data governance teams to enforce standards for data quality, privacy, and security
Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
Establish and maintain strong DevOps practices supporting code quality, testing, and deployment automation
Design data models and analytics architectures that support reporting, advanced analytics, and self-service insights
Deliver intuitive, decision-oriented dashboards and visualization experiences using modern BI tools such as Power BI
Translate business objectives into clear technical requirements and scalable engineering solutions
Serve as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders through clear, effective communication
Reduce manual and ad-hoc data requests over time through automation and reusable data assets
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience across ETL, business intelligence, and analytics
5+ years designing and operating large-scale data pipelines and big data platforms
Deep expertise in data architecture, modeling, and high-volume data processing
Hands-on experience with ML/AI operations using platforms such as GCP and Snowflake
Demonstrated success leading and developing data engineering teams
Strong experience with SQL-based pipelines, APIs, and integration patterns
Working knowledge of data privacy, governance, and regulatory compliance standards
Advanced understanding of data visualization best practices across BI tools, user interfaces, and AI-enabled analytics
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Familiarity with large language model concepts and architectures
Prior experience in CPG, marketing analytics, or consumer-focused data environments
