Managing Director-Financial Advisory

The Managing Director is responsible for driving business growth, developing client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of consulting engagements within accounting, finance, and regulatory compliance practices.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand Sirius Solutions’ accounting, finance, and compliance practice areas
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients across multiple industries
Lead the sales process by diagnosing client challenges and recommending the optimal delivery model:
Management Consulting – strategic advisory and transformation projects
Managed Services – ongoing outsourced or co-sourced support with defined SLAs
Project-Based Consulting – discrete, deliverable-driven initiatives
Interim Management Services – deployment of experienced finance, accounting, and audit professionals
Prepare and deliver compelling client proposals that include: 1) Tailored delivery methodologies and execution frameworks. 2) Integrated tools and technology enablement. 3) Detailed project plans, milestones, and deliverable templates
Partner with eTeam leadership to align consulting growth strategies with broader organizational goals and client offerings
Represent Sirius Solutions at industry events and professional associations to expand market presence
Oversee delivery of client engagements across all delivery models, ensuring consistency, quality, and client satisfaction
Provide executive oversight and quality assurance for accounting, finance, and compliance projects
Collaborate with project leads to manage project scope, resourcing, timelines, and financial performance
Ensure the consistent application of Sirius Solutions’ methodologies and frameworks across all engagements
Support talent development and team leadership across both consulting and interim management professionals
Drive talent growth by identifying and engaging consulting and interim management professionals from your network
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and scalability in delivery practices
Develop repeatable tools, templates, and methodologies to enhance delivery quality and efficiency
Contribute to Company growth through thought leadership, whitepapers, and speaking engagements
Collaborate with eTeam’s broader organization to leverage shared capabilities and cross-sell opportunities
Stay current on emerging regulatory, financial, and technology trends impacting clients
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with Sirius Solutions’ entrepreneurial values
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
8–12 years of progressive experience in consulting, professional services, or advisory roles and / or prior experience as a Senior Manager or C-level leader in Accounting, Finance, or Internal Audit
Proven track record in business development, proposal management, and revenue growth
Expertise in accounting operations, internal audit, financial reporting, and SOX compliance
Experience delivering across multiple engagement models (consulting, managed services, interim management)
Familiarity with ERP, GRC and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, IFS, NetSuite Workday, Workiva, AuditBoard, High Radius, Lease Accelerator, etc.)
Entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, and results-oriented
Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to balance strategic growth with hands-on project leadership
Preferred
Master's or MBA
CPA, CIA, or CISA
