Responsibilities
Oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions to drive business insights
Set strategic direction for BI initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and business needs
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to BI Analysts and Data Visualization professionals, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing across the team
Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders, IT, and data engineering teams to prioritize and deliver on analytics projects
Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, data integrity, and visualization standards
Drive continuous process improvement in metrics, reporting, and BI strategy
Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder communications for multiple concurrent initiatives
Ensure data from various sources (data lakes, warehouses, Snowflake, etc.) is effectively integrated and utilized
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and reporting issues, providing guidance to the team
Stay current with emerging BI tools, technologies, and industry trends to enhance team capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
6+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role
Demonstrated success managing BI or analytics projects and teams
Advanced proficiency in Power BI and data visualization best practices
Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills
Deep understanding of ETL concepts and tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, Python, R)
Experience with data governance, data modeling, and data quality frameworks
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, and Power BI
