Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support for employees (hardware, software, network issues)
Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Support common business software (email, office suites, browsers, accounting or CRM tools)
Set up and maintain local networks (LAN/Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls)
Monitor network performance and ensure uptime
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, and peripherals
Manage software installations, updates, and licenses
Recommend and procure IT equipment and tools when needed
Implement basic security measures (antivirus, firewalls, MFA)
Perform regular system updates and patches
Monitor for security risks and respond to incidents
Manage backups and data recovery procedures
Administer cloud services (e.g., email hosting, file sharing, collaboration tools)
Manage user access to cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.)
Ensure data availability and proper configurations
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in providing IT support with a focus on customer service excellence
Strong knowledge of computer management practices across multiple operating systems including Windows and macOS
Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewall management, and network security protocols
Ability to manage computer hardware components effectively and perform routine maintenance tasks
Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers, switches, routers, and BMC Remedy or similar ticketing systems
Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical information to non-technical users
Preferred
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are preferred but not required
