Engineer IV
CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer IV to join their Electric Distribution Team to work remotely from home. The role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions for electric distribution systems while mentoring junior engineers and enhancing grid resiliency and reliability.

Responsibilities
Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for electric distribution infrastructure
Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
Support grid resiliency, system modernization, and storm hardening initiatives, ensuring designs prioritize safety, reliability, and constructability
Monitor project performance to maintain efficient delivery, minimize risk, and meet budget and schedule requirements
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality reviews for junior engineering staff to support professional development and high-quality deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required
Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations
