Responsibilities
Perform daily tasks as instructed and demonstrated by the Lead or Supervisor within the time allocated according to company standards
Carry out typical machine shop and mold press operations to support the assembly floor
Identify and report defective materials or any questionable conditions to the department supervisor
Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on machines as outlined in the P.M. charts
Be able to perform, but not limited to, tasks such as milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, molding, and other bench operations and inspections
Recognize and respond to machine malfunction warnings and alarm signals
Have a solid understanding of basic machine functions to perform the required tasks
Be open to receiving frequent supervision and assistance, particularly with machine setup
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations
Conduct all work-related activities ethically, consistently, and in a fair manner
Contribute to a productive, proactive, and effective team in a fast-paced environment
Follow all safety standards and company policies, including attending mandatory safety training
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Frequently required to use hands for handling objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance
Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, and squat for prolonged periods
Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
A positive attitude and good judgment are essential. Must be a team player and work effectively with others
Ability to understand and follow instructions and directions
Availability to work weekends and/or overtime as needed
Ability to concentrate and work effectively in a noisy environment
Ability to wear required protective equipment such as earplugs, safety glasses, gloves, boots, respirators, etc
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Minimum of 1 year of factory-related experience
Preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
