Business Development Manager
Recharge City empowers individuals to launch their own scalable and intuitive sharing economy businesses in the United States. They are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead their expansion across the US restaurant and hospitality sector by securing strategic partnerships with restaurant chains, franchises, and F&B groups for deploying smart Powerbank Rental Stations.

Responsibilities
Strategic Prospecting: Identify and target mid-to-large scale restaurant chains, nightclubs, fast-food franchises, bar groups, and other high-traffic venues for station deployment
End-to-End Sales: Own the entire sales cycle — from cold outreach and initial pitch to contract negotiation and closing
Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with Franchisees, VPs of Operations, Heads of Innovation, and other decision-makers
Market Strategy: Analyze competitors and identify high-traffic “white space” opportunities for hardware deployment
Value Proposition: Clearly communicate the commercial value of our service (increased dwell time, improved guest experience, and incremental revenue streams) to stakeholders
Qualification
Required
3+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships within Hospitality, F&B, Retail Tech, Urban Infrastructure, or Location-Based Services
Direct, active relationships with decision-makers in one or more of the following: Restaurant chains and franchise groups, Stadiums and arenas, Shopping malls and retail centers, Airports and airport authorities, Train stations, bus terminals, and transit hubs, Public spaces (parks, squares, alleys), Hospitals and large healthcare facilities, New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT), MTA — Metropolitan Transportation Authority
A personal rolodex that can be leveraged immediately — not 'can build,' but already exists
Strong pitching and negotiation skills; comfort working with C-suite executives, public-sector officials, and institutional stakeholders
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, execution-focused startup environment
Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and understanding of IoT, hardware deployments, or sharing-economy models
Preferred
Background at companies such as DoorDash, Toast, UberEats, venue operators, beverage distributors, or similar is a strong plus
