Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries to improve performance and application efficiency
Performance tuning at database, query, and server levels to ensure optimal system responsiveness
Data backup and restore operations, including regular maintenance, validation, and disaster recovery readiness
Database migrations, upgrades, and environment refresh activities with minimal downtime
Stored Procedure (SP) optimization and index recommendations to enhance query execution
Implement and manage RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and ensure strong database security practices
Develop, maintain, and tune SSIS packages and SQL batch jobs for high-performance data processing
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) expertise to support data movement, transformation, and integration needs
Data synchronization across environments to maintain consistency and reliability
Qualification
Required
Seven plus years of proficiency with SQL
Performance Tuning Proficiency
Seven plus years of experience with Backup and Recovery
Expertise with SSIS and SSRS
Three plus years of experience with Azure Migration
