Analyst, Merchandising Contract Compliance

McLane Company, Inc. is a leader in the distribution industry, and they are seeking a Merch Contract Compliance Analyst. The role involves ensuring compliance with Grocery Distribution Supplier Agreements and working with various teams to manage contract compliance systems.

Responsibilities

Ensure completion of GDSA with all Grocery Distribution suppliers
Understand and utilize the standard format GDSA and the GDSA acceptable variations among suppliers
Prepare, analyze and audit various internal and external reports
Understand and appropriately apply all elements of supplier GDSAs including, but not limited to:
Payment terms
Performance rebates
Certificate of Insurance and W9
Product disposition
Purchasing minimums
Implement and manage the McLane Grocery Contract Compliance systems
Enter and update contract terms, dates, and contractual requirements
Follow up on activities required to remain in compliance with all GDSAs
Safeguard confidentiality of GDSAs in accordance with approved Company procedures
Ensure appropriate record retention of GDSAs and related information
Facilitate supplier audits in accordance with contractual requirements
Ensure all contracts including, but not limited to, all GDSA’s, event contracts, supplier rebate contracts and wholesale programs are compliant for the following
All levels of approval have been received
All contracts are fully executed and signed by all applicable parties
All contracts are filed in the appropriate digital and physical locations
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

A bachelor's degree in business or related field
2 or more years of related experience
Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Superior accuracy and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize, negotiate and meet deadlines
This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
