The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and training employees, coordinating vessel loading, and resolving operational challenges to ensure safety and efficiency objectives are met.

Responsibilities

Follow all workplace and job safety procedures

Supervise, train and coach employee to accomplish safety, productivity, quality and efficiency objectives

Responsible for shift schedule to include workstation assignment/rotations, employee training, vacation, breaks, overtime assignments, and back up for absent employees

Coordinate vessel loading during loading process, conduct shift meetings and communicate with third party vendors including ship captain and third-party inspectors

Identify and help resolve operational challenges including corrective action and troubleshooting to improve reliability of equipment, escalate issues promptly for proper resolution

Operate mobile equipment including inside the storage domes and on vessels

Troubleshoot basic control systems and be familiar with basic machinery functions

Perform housekeeping audits

Communicate to Operations team, escalating issues as necessary

Other related duties as assigned and serve as backup resource when needed
