The Staff Accountant will be part of the finance and accounting team, primarily responsible for providing support within general accounting functions and expanding their knowledge base into other areas.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of the month-end close
Prepare and post various journal entries
Reconcile general ledger and bank account balances and activity
Prepare royalties/revenue share reports and accounting entries
Responsible for GAAP accounting across a variety of areas
Assist with annual audit requests
Provide support for other functions in the accounting department and throughout the company
Assist with other duties and projects assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong aptitude for learning
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Dependability
Ability to complete projects independently
Preferred
Advanced Excel skills are highly preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus
Four-year degree in accounting preferred
Experience as a staff accountant is a plus
