Accounting Manager

They are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards, and play a key role in financial reporting and audit preparation.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and inventory accounting
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, and audit preparation, liaising with external auditors as needed
Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP, tax filings, and regulatory requirements
Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to a team of accounting professionals
Partner cross-functionally with Finance and other departments to improve processes and drive efficiency
Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other ERP tools to enhance reporting and streamline workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role
Strong knowledge of GAAP, audit processes, and regulatory requirements
Preferred
CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred (required by some business units)
Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm) highly valued
Proficiency in ERP systems, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
