Responsibilities
Leads employees by supporting, coaching, training, assisting with time management and performing evaluations; should conduct regular meetings with all direct reports
Designs and implements scalable data quality automation frameworks and test harnesses to validate data across multiple systems and domains
Defines and operationalizes data quality rules and metrics that align with business objectives and technical standards
Collaborates cross-functionally with data governance, data engineering, analytics, products, and business teams to ensure alignment on data quality priorities
Defines data quality KPIs, trends, and issues, providing actionable insights to stakeholders
Drives adoption of industry best practices in data profiling, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis
Ensures compliance with internal data governance policies and external regulatory requirements related to data quality
Evaluates and integrate data quality tools and platforms, making recommendations for technology improvements
Supports strategic initiatives by providing data quality expertise in enterprise projects, migrations, and transformations
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with test automation frameworks, data validation tools, and quality rule engines
Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data governance principles
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python or SQL
Experience with data quality tools (e.g., Informatica DQ, Talend, Great Expectations, Collibra, etc.)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate business requirements into technical data quality rules
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field required
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in data management, including 2 plus years in a leadership role overseeing data quality or related programs required
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with DevOps practices is a plus
