Responsibilities
Design & Implement: Create and manage ETL processes, data structures, and both analytical and operational reporting environments
Innovate: Develop new system functionalities with a focus on performance, stability, and supportability
Lead by Example: Apply industry best practices in modeling, workflow, and presentation
Extract & Integrate: Design and implement data extracts for both internal and external sources
Organize & Communicate: Utilize your strong organizational and communication skills to keep everything running smoothly
Solve Problems: Tackle challenges across application, middleware, and infrastructure levels with thorough impact analysis
Set Standards: Help define standards and design patterns for data processes and structures within the team
Guide & Mentor: Provide guidance on development standards and quality expectations, and mentor new team members
Collaborate: Communicate effectively with employees at all levels, both within the company and with clients
Influence: Develop a sphere of influence with other teams and foster a collaborative environment
Be On Call: Participate in on-call rotations to ensure smooth operations
Travel: Enjoy occasional travel, up to 20%
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience with SQL and ETL processes, including crafting queries, stored procedures, jobs, functions, synonyms, and aliases
Experience with SQL Environments and variables, version control, and execution plans
Extensive experience with ETL tools (SSIS or similar) and optimizing performance
Demonstrated ability to meet key accountabilities or the drive to learn and excel in them
A self-motivated individual with an unyielding passion for success
Skilled at understanding how changes affect customers and other systems
Excellent communication and organizational skills to keep everything on track
Thrives in a fast-paced team environment and loves to train and mentor junior staff on best practices and enhancing solution designs
Quick to adapt and eager to learn new technologies
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Strong focus on customer and business needs
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience and/or alternative qualifications will be considered
