Responsibilities

Set up and execute structural optimization studies, defining design space, constraints, and objectives
Analyze and interpret optimization results to propose feasible and manufacturable design solutions
Perform subsystem- and full-vehicle-level optimizations focused on stiffness, stress, and mass reduction
Implement multi-domain and multi-material optimization strategies to achieve balanced performance targets
Utilize simulation and analysis tools such as OptiStruct, NASTRAN, HyperWorks, and BetaCAE
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal trade-offs between performance attributes
Provide design recommendations and technical input during the early concept development phases
Scripting experience in Python or TCL is an added advantage

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, including 1–2 years in structural optimization
Strong fundamentals in FEA and in-depth knowledge of CAE optimization techniques
Proficient with tools such as OptiStruct/NASTRAN, HyperWorks, and BetaCAE
Enthusiastic, fast learner with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent team collaboration skills
Performance evaluated based on task completion and results

Preferred

Scripting experience in Python or TCL is an added advantage
