PROGRAM ANALYST

Responsibilities

Executes planning, programming, and analysis, in development of short- and long-range acquisition plans, affecting joint force program objectives and milestones
Develops policies, procedures, and methods required for the administrative management, control, and maintenance of assigned projects
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates a wide range of programmatic funding, contract, schedule, and other performance data
Coordinates with senior management, oversight, customer, and support officials in the formulation and review of acquisition plans, milestones, and schedules
Provides staff guidance and direction to all elements engages in the development and implementation of plans and objectives to assure compliance with applicable policies and constraints

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment
Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination
This is a drug testing designated position
Individuals tentatively selected will be required to submit to urinalysis for illegal drugs prior to appointment or placement and random drug testing after appointment
This is a Term Appointment position Not to Exceed two (2) years
Eligible for noncompetitive conversion to a permanent CES appointment at a later date should a position become available
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
Experience developing or planning in acquisition plans, funds, and scheduling program objectives or milestones
Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume
All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level
