Newrez is committed to exceeding the expectations of residential mortgage borrowers and business partners through superior service. The Paralegal I will assist the Legal Department in reviewing marketing materials and tracking client-related agreements, acting as a liaison with other departments.

Responsibilities

Review marketing materials, advertisements, social media content, and client communications to ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and investor guidelines

Coordinate with Marketing to provide timely feedback on marketing campaigns

Assist in tracking key client transactions and servicing agreements

Coordinate the execution and delivery of legal documents, as well as the collection of signature pages from clients and the delivery of such to all parties

Perform ad hoc legal research as required on federal and state laws/regulations, and any other matters as requested

Draft organizational documents such as bylaws and corporate resolutions

Act as a liaison for Corporate Legal and other departments

Assist with maintaining contract databases and other legal tracking systems

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies from an accredited college or university and/or certification as a paralegal

1+ years' paralegal experience with financial services or mortgages servicing

Familiarity with federal and state advertising and marketing law applicable to financial services
