Responsibilities
Provide on-site support for filtration equipment installation and commissioning services globally
Advise/direct others in the correct installation and commissioning sequence & procedure to ensure safe, efficient, & accurate installation and commissioning services
Execute on-site jobs ensuring scope, delivery time and costs according to budget
Provide on-site technical expertise and customer support for filtration equipment
Support the Market Areas’ competence development through on-the-job training and mentoring
Provide input and feedback to product development and continuous improvement activities
Support sales activities by providing technical expertise to selected sales cases
Provide input to technical documentation, such as manuals, spare part catalogs and maintenance instructions & recommendations
Ensure proper fulfillment of all QEHS rules and regulations of Metso, customer and local legislation
Qualification
Required
Automation Engineering degree (PLC/HMI programming)
At least a couple of years of experience working with process equipment controlled by PLC and HMI is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
Strong written and verbal skills in English
Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities and deadlines
Ability to work independently in different cultures around the world
Willingness to travel globally (around 70% of the time)
Preferred
Knowledge and understanding of filtration equipment and processes will be a definite advantage
