Responsibilities
Develop and optimize topical and/or SCS delivery systems
Develop appropriate techniques to investigate the bioavailability and stability of released drugs
Investigate biocompatibility in an animal model
Develop/collection of ROP retinal images
Initiate and coordinate new projects
Collaborate on ongoing projects
Prepare documents for the dissemination of research findings at national meetings and/or publications in research journals
Qualification
Required
PhD in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
Experience in ocular drug delivery systems
Knowledge of retinal imaging techniques
Ability to develop and optimize drug delivery systems
Experience with bioavailability and stability investigations
Familiarity with biocompatibility testing in animal models
Experience in initiating and coordinating research projects
Strong collaboration skills for ongoing projects
Ability to prepare documents for dissemination of research findings
Experience presenting at national conferences
Experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals
