Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for all contracting and licensing matters with Sales Advisors and internal stakeholders
Oversee and manage the Sales Advisors onboarding process, including contracting and application workflow from submission to policy activation
Respond to and resolve Tier 1 escalations in collaboration with compliance, operations leadership, and carrier partners
Communicate with Sales Advisors and carriers to obtain and track outstanding requirements for policy issuance
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date electronic filing system for all licensing and contracting documents
Provide expert-level support to Sales Advisors on licensing and contracting procedures while providing assistance with carrier appointments
Review operational reports daily and take appropriate action based on findings
Support training and onboarding of new team members; act as a mentor and subject matter expert within the department
Assist with quality assurance processes and keep internal reference documentation current
Conduct audits to detect and correct processing errors and escalate issues when necessary
Participate in ongoing projects and contribute to process improvements

Required

1–2+ years of experience in insurance operations, contracting/licensing, or a related field
Solid understanding of life insurance industry processes and broker management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs), and Adobe Pro
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

AIRC (Associate, Insurance Regulatory Compliance) certification is preferred
Experience mentoring or training others is a plus
