Responsibilities

Learn and support the Symitar core banking platform and PowerOn scripting through hands-on development and mentorship
Assist with writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining PowerOn programs, scripts, and reports
Support enhancements, integrations, and data extracts related to Symitar modules
Participate in requirements gathering and documentation with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Troubleshoot application issues and assist with root cause analysis under guidance of senior staff

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Foundational knowledge of programming concepts (logic, variables, loops, conditionals)

Familiarity with databases and basic SQL concepts
Understanding of batch processing, file transfers, or system integrations
Experience with version control tools or development ticketing systems
