Responsibilities
Identifies and implements cost reduction, quality, efficiency, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope
Works with electronic tools to perform engineering functions
Provides support and basic trouble shooting for current operations
Develops plans of limited scope to support lean manufacturing
Assists in development of baseline data for new wage performance pay plans
Provide day to day shop floor support for crawler assembly
Qualification
Required
Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
Graduation date of May 2027 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Available to work 16-20 hours during the academic year
Available to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester
Must be able to commute to the work location on a regular basis
Preferred
Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Evidence of a strong work ethic
Ability to be self-directed
