The Student Lab Technician and Building Support position involves supporting staff and students in maintaining the ANSEP Building and facilitating activities and events.

Responsibilities

Support ANSEP staff with general maintenance of the ANSEP Building

Assist ANSEP students in accessing our facilities

Help with set up and execution of various activities and events at the ANSEP Building

Required

Applicants must be 17 years or older

Be currently enrolled in the University of Alaska system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or Have been enrolled the preceding semester for six or more credit hours and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester for employment between semesters

Have at least a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA)

Must be able to lift or move 25 to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
