JMA | Aviation Technician
Jet Midwest is an aviation service provider seeking an Aviation Technician. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing aircraft components while ensuring compliance with technical specifications and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities
Inspect, repair, and overhaul aircraft components and systems as assigned in compliance with specifications and FAA regulations
Troubleshoot system and component malfunctions and perform necessary maintenance work or re-work using various tools and diagnostic devices
Remove and replace defective components
Sheet metal inspection and repairs
Composite/paint inspection and repairs
Maintain all pertinent documentation – logbooks, 8130’s, and historical data as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Working knowledge of Federal Air Regulations (FAR's)
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Willing and able to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays and weekends
Possess the legal right to work in the United States
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Extensive knowledge of aircraft accessories, components and other hardware
Basic Math and Measurement Skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
Preferred
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P Certificate)
Minimum experience of two (2) years in aircraft maintenance or component work
Mechanical Experience; own hand tools helpful
