Responsibilities

Develop and execute long-term strategies for the acquisition and deployment of capital equipment and infrastructure
Oversee the lifecycle management of capital equipment, ensuring efficiency in the procurement through release to production allowing the business to capture a return on investment
Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of capital equipment and infrastructure projects, including equipment installation, upgrades, decommissioning, and layout changes
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify capital equipment requirements and ensure alignment with business goals, production demands, and safety standards
Manage vendor relationships for the procurement, installation, and servicing of capital equipment, negotiating SOWs and ensuring adherence to performance expectations
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in the deployment and operation of capital equipment
Develop and manage budgets for capital equipment projects, ensuring cost-effective investments and adherence to financial targets
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are proactively identified and implemented prior to release to production to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
Drive sustainability initiatives by identifying and implementing energy-efficient and environmentally friendly equipment solutions
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence

Required

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Experience in product/project management managing Equipment infrastructure

Preferred

Strong understanding of manufacturing, testing, and operational processes in the semiconductor industry
Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management
Familiarity with equipment lifecycle management, predictive and preventative maintenance
Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements for capital equipment
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience in CORE / lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement methodologies
