Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support automation and robotic systems for high-volume manufacturing
Specialize in one of the following areas: PLC Focus: Develop and maintain PLC programs using Siemens TIA Portal, Ensure seamless system control and integration Robotics Focus: Program and integrate FANUC robotic systems, Experience with iRVision is a strong plus, Integrate multiple automated tasks into a unified control platform
Work with advanced industrial hardware including: Sensors, remote I/O, servos, VFDs, Machine vision systems and barcode readers
Implement and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as Profinet and EtherNet/IP
Present and discuss a recent automation or controls project during the interview process
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of recent, hands-on experience in PLC programming or robotics integration
Strong proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal or FANUC robotics
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred
Experience with FANUC iRVision
Hands-on work with 6-axis robotic systems
Knowledge of HMI / SCADA design
Drive configuration
