Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver ServiceNow solutions aligned to business needs
Partner with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical designs
Design and develop ServiceNow Service Portals, including custom widgets and UI enhancements
Implement workflow automation and portal integrations
Work closely with government Product Owners on implementation and delivery
Support system integrations with external platforms
Facilitate data migration from legacy systems into ServiceNow
Conduct configuration testing to ensure functionality and data integrity
Monitor and optimize platform performance
Support change management activities
Provide user training and adoption support
Diagnose and resolve ServiceNow technical issues
Maintain thorough technical documentation
Stay current with ServiceNow releases and best practices
Qualification
Required
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of professional experience
5+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience
3+ years of ServiceNow Service Portal development
Demonstrated experience building custom Service Portal widgets
Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript
Strong hands-on experience with AngularJS
Strong hands-on experience with HTML / CSS
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining custom ServiceNow portals
Hands-on experience configuring or building ServiceNow applications
Experience creating and customizing UI components
Experience creating and customizing complex workflows
Experience creating and customizing automation and scripting
3+ years of integration experience, including REST / SOAP
3+ years of integration experience, including JSON
3+ years of integration experience, including JDBC
3+ years of integration experience, including File imports
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform best practices
Experience supporting architecture and product owner teams with Users, groups, and roles
Ability to serve as a technical advisor, resolving issues and defining development standards
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience working in IL5 / IL6 environments
Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Additional ServiceNow certifications a plus
