Responsibilities

Follow blueprints, drawings and general instructions to plan and layout assignments

Assemble, install and repair mechanical and electromechanical equipment and systems such as production machinery/tools, conveyer systems, storage racks and tanks, facility equipment and the like

Use a wide variety of hand, power and machine tools to perform assignments

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems requiring the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings, gears, structural components and the like

Perform electrical maintenance on equipment and various types of machinery

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems

Perform other duties as required

Required

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Experience working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Effective communication skills to collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams
